Bike Week

Currently, most of us #stayathome. We would like to make sure that you do not get bored – so we looked through our Banff archives and found several Banff Film Tour classics for you to pass the time at home.

Naturally, Bike Week means a lot of action: Mike Hopkins, Matt Hunter, Wade Simmons and others take your to the dirt trails of California, Hawaii and Canada. And in "The Frozen Road" Ben Page is also cycling through Canada – although one cannot be sure if he doesn't actually push his bike more often than riding it...

Strength in Numbers

Banff Tour 2013

Strength in Numbers is a rally call to connect all mountain bikers, regardless of location or language or discipline. The film captures a true way of life, from the world's best pros to those who are just learning to love the sport. This is the segment shot in Aptos, California.

The Frozen Road

Banff Tour 2018

Ben Page sought an adventure of perfect solitude in the Canadian Arctic. Yet, as he came to realize, the harsh truths of travelling in such a formidable environment were a long way from the romanticisms of a Jack London book.

How to Make a Sick Edit

We didn't show this film on the Banff Tour – but we would hate for you to miss it: Follow Matt Dennison's instructions in "How to Make a Sich Edit" in order to shoot your own biking film. Don't forget to keep your social distance to your biking partners and wear your mask!
