Emil und Karl

Six days of bikepacking in the Swiss Alps. For Emil and Karl, it’s their first big mountain adventure. At just two-and-a-half years old, the boys mostly get to chill in the trailer while dads Jakob and Konne do the hard pedaling. Covering a span of 180 kilometers and a gain of 6,000 vertical meters isn’t the only challenge to their progress; Emil and Karl also have lots of important things to do along the way: toss rocks in rivers, watch cows and marmots, and brave their first little downhill rides on balance bikes. And just like the route has its ups and downs, so do the tiny co-pilots’ moods.
