THE ADVENTURE AT YOUR DOORSTEP
Three friends from Canmore, Alberta, are planning an adventure right on their own doorstep. They want to go down the headwaters of the North Saskatchewan River, one of Canada's longest rivers, on a stand-up paddleboard.
To get there, they first have to cross two glaciers and a mountain that is over 3300 meters high. Any means will do—bikes, snowboards, skis—and so begins a small battle in the middle of the Canadian Rockies.
